Our work and ministry can be summarised by six ‘M’s – read on for a little on each of these!
Missionaries
Hannah And Steve Prosser are HASMissions, passionate missionaries working strategically around the world to see the name of Jesus made known among the nations. Over a number of years we have had the privilege of serving God’s Kingdom in several African and European countries as well as engaging in ministry in the UK. We love training, teaching and mentoring, and have had the opportunity to disciple many in Bible colleges and beyond – plus the joy of serving in poverty-stricken communities to bring social relief, hope and the love of Jesus.
Mentors
A major component of our ministry is mentoring others. With our projects in Europe we work with church leaders and others who want to plant churches or support those that do. We walk the journey with them, helping them with personal and leadership challenges and to recognise and release their giftings.
We are also passionate about the pastoral care of missionaries. We regularly work with people who have been on short or long-term missions, debriefing to help them with re-entry, and supporting them during their ministry. We are part of the AOG national missions team, developing new programmes to support missionaries around the world.
Motivators
Encouragement is the backbone of our motivational ministry, standing like Aaron and Hur supporting Moses’ arms. We love to spend time with small churches and missionaries, many of whom are isolated, discouraged and consider giving up. Our work is to transform this into joy, bringing refreshment and a fresh word of God.
Ministers
Throughout Europe there are thousands of towns with no evangelical expression of church of any denomination. Many people willing to plant churches here often have other jobs and don’t have the opportunity to study at theological college. Instead, we bring the training to them. We organise events and bring in specialist trainers to equip national workers. We minister at these conferences, preach and teach in the churches and small groups, and help run outreach events and church / kids camps.
In Britain we teach around the country in churches, theological seminars and special events, using our experience of being Bible college faculty and our love of the Scriptures.
Mobilisers
We minister throughout the UK, teaching on missions, inspiring and mobilising people and churches to missions involvement. We love to link churches to missions projects and churches in other nations; also networking isolated churches with one another for mutual support, connection and encouragement.
Managers
Our project management of church renewal and planting projects around Europe means making sure that events and programmes run well and bring the high level of inspiration and teaching required. We also run the Rotherham Foodbank, and have been helping to introduce foodbanks into European countries.
