HASMissions stands for Hannah And Stephen Missions. Our passion for Jesus has inspired us to dedicate our lives to mission, both local and global, for the last two decades.
We have been involved in local church ministry for 25 years, and Stephen is the Associate/Community Pastor at Hope Church Rotherham. We have both been involved in ministries such as preaching and teaching, working with children and youth, event organisation, missions support, community projects and church planting.
Our experience of cross-cultural mission includes a 7 year period during which we lived in South Africa, serving at Africa School of Missions, a non-denominational college with a proud history of training and equipping people for the mission field. During our time there as faculty members, we lectured on a range of theological and missional subjects, whilst also providing practical training and mentoring for the students. We were also involved in a wide variety of social ministries in the local community.
In 2013 we moved back to England to join the Next Level International Network, an organisation with over 20 years of experience of bringing social, spiritual and economic change to Europe. Our ministry focus is in the Central European countries, where we help project-manage programmes that assist nationals in their vision to develop leaders and plant new churches. Our masters degrees were completed on European missional issues.
Now we are operating in multiple spheres. Locally we are involved in the local church: Stephen is a local pastor & foodbank manager. We are associated with the Assemblies of God UK, and are on the national missions team with responsibility for Sent & Sending Missionaries (including Member Care) and co-ordinating Europe, as well as ministering at churches around the UK. Internationally we continue to work with church planters and leaders in Europe: providing projects, teaching and mentoring to further the Kingdom. We also work with a number of other missionaries and churches in various locations around the world. (MORE HERE)
We have a part-time income from the local ministry, and the rest of our living costs and the expenses for our mission work are met by donations from individuals and churches. You can partner with us here.
Missions is not just about us – but about the whole family. Both of our daughters have been on the mission field since they were infants. We believe in a no excuses mentality towards ministry; building for eternity now whilst at the same time providing our girls with the most amazing experiences and strong foundations for life.

I have always loved travelling and exploring new cultures and love reading and watching documentaries on these themes. Football (Sheffield United) and rugby (Bulls from Pretoria) are also a huge passion of mine, as you will find out if you spend 5 minutes with me! I have an amazing family and we keep Jesus at the centre of all we do.
I’m a people-person and love to meet people for coffee (actually tea) and see how they’re doing. I’m very creative and love photography and mixed-media. I enjoy quizzes – but have a terrible memory so don’t do well! I’m indecisive and so like to download menus before I go anywhere! I love Jesus, aspire to be more like Him daily – and adore my wonderful family.
I love being a missionary, meeting people and sharing Jesus.
I’m crazy about football and animals – especially cats!
I’ve been to 19 countries, but my favourite is South Africa for def.
